If you haven't had problems with the BOV in the past, it won't make a difference now. And the throttle body isn't going to effect the car starting up and idling.

it won't matter now with a new head, tb, reset ecu, etc? i just think that it's an easy and obvious fix... why not give the car every possible opportunity to run correctly?
