laval,
Hi,
In the last week, Ive been having some serious problem with my TMO datalogger. I can actually get my laptop to connect to the TMO box. However, it disconnects and goes in link down status, only a few seconds after the connection.
I tried to change the serial cable.
I tried to change the default com port parameters. (Ive seen some slight difference, but maybe it was just weird luck. The time before the disconnection seemed to increase when I increment the maximum port speed. (Tried from 9600 up to 900k+))
I tried running it without the car running. (ignition at ON, but not started)
I tried running it with the car running.
I did try a different ECU.
The computers running Windows 98.
It used to work correctly until 2-3 weeks ago.
Each time it lost syncro, I needed to manually kill the program because it froze...
Im actually out of ideas Ive ordered a palm cable so Ill be able to try MMCD on it
Anyone have any idea on what I should try?
Thanks,
Karl
