Hey wat would u guys suggest as a good tire for the rest of this summer and through the winter? 215-50-17 talon tsi awd

There are very few brands of tires made in that size. I run Goodyear Eagle RS-A on my 2G, but I'm partial to Goodyear. It's an all season tire that performs well in rain and snow, but performance-wise, it's mediocre.

i looked on tire rack and found goodyear, dunlop, bf goodrich, pirreli, firestone, bridestone, sumitomo, kumho, continental...so they have enough brands that carry them

Hey, you're right. When I was looking a few months back on Tire Rack, I only got around 5 or 6 different brands of results. Of course, now they have 29. I would go with Yokohama. Stay away from the Continental ContiExtremeContact. They wear out super fast, from what I've seen.

I got em' and love em'. No signs of early wear and have performed remarkebly :thumb:

Sorry, I got those confused with the ContiSportContact. Too many conticon con con this con that, in the tire names. Stupidiest names  The ContiSportContacts are the ones you want to avoid. They have a UTQG of 160. :thumbdown

I just put on my third set of Dunlops and I have loved every second of driving with them.... SP Sport A2's...

They are VERY quiet and have excellent handling in the rain and snow.

I was worried about wear with them, but the last two times I took them in to get replaced, I actually got around $15-$20 off per tire because the previous set didn't last quite as long as the warranty had claimed.
