timing with a cop help

How do i adjust the timing with a cop set up and should i just swap in stock coils for a more accurate reading ?

i did a search but could not find any info on this
how do i set timing with a c.o.p set up
where do i hook up the timing light cable that normaly connect with sparkplug wire no 1
do i just clamp it on the no 1 coil or what??

You can lay the pickup on the #1 coil and it should work. Or just put the signal pickup over the wire going into the first coil. And i dont mean you have to grab it up at the coil connector either...back where the wire exits between the VC and cop plate is just as good.
