Alright first of all, i know my profile says i have a 90 GSX, but at the current moment im driving my 95 Eagle Talon Tsi FWD. Mods are, Ported T-28, 550cc's, walbro 190 pump, boost at 18psi, HKS Super Mega Flow, HKS ssqv bov, Apexi SAFC II, HKS Hi-Power Cat back and boost and air/fuel gauges. Car feels great on 18psi, until midrange to top end, feels like the car is tryin really hard to go but isnt moving quite like it does if i only am using maybe 75% throttle. I figured it was my timing and since then i have been playing with the SAFC to try to correct the problem. Just a curiousity question. The HKS ssqv vents to the atmosphere. I do not have a maf translator or anything, could the problem be the fact that my blow of valve should still recirculate or should i just keep on playing with the timing? :talon:

If you get yourself a good set of of cams + cam gears, you can get some good top end power. Also, if you keep playing with your timing a little, not to much though, I am sure you could get just a little more juice from your engine.

i think you should pull your boost back to 15 and get a logger, and learn to use it. you mess up timing and/or fuel, and you can puke the motor.

Agreed. It's easier to tune at lower boost then work your way up from there in small boost increments, tuning slightly as you go. And the BOV may or not be the problem, but vented BOVs don't help anything, you should really try to recirculate it somehow.
