i have had a problems that has been stumping me for a while now and i checked the timing and it looks to be on took off on the intake cam, my car runs super lean and rough at idle, it builds boost slowly, and doesnt really pull like it should, the vac gauge reads about 14-15, and the bov sounds weird when it blows off like its not opening all the way, any input would greatly help thanx :thumb:

Sadly, the two marks on the cams have to be aligned dead straight across along with the top of the block.

Plus, the marks on the sprockets have to be dead on exact aligned with their respective counterparts that is stamped on the block - no exceptions.

You might have to do a re-timing procedure over again to satisfy the above situation that you posted.

Good luck-DSM

The timing being off one tooth can cause it to run pretty rough off idle. As for running lean what is your SAFC set to and how lean is it going?
