Timing Belt tension question

So I just put my t belt on and tensioned it by the book (shopkey). everything is how it should be but the left side(looking from the front) is looser than the other side. Is this normal? will this go away after i start the car? p.s. i did rotate the crank 10x after I got done.

all of the slack should be on the left side when setting the belt up but then the eccentric tensioner pulley should be adjusted to remove some of that slack.

you have to measure the gap between the arm and the body of the tensioner ten mins after you rotated the motor twice and pulled the grenade pin.

k thank you I did the measuring part I was just curious why all the slack was on one side i did what you suggested but it seems kinda tight It only has about a cm of play when I wiggle the belt is this about right? I'm just paranoid I dont wanna eat my head ya know?
