hi, im hoping that someone can help me out. recently my crankshaft pulley and my alternator belt broke at the same time. they worked together to cause my timing belt to jump. my crankshaft tore a hole in my timing belt cover and my alternator belt got in the timing belt area, causing it to skip. my valves are almost all bent and my pistons all have four dings on them right around where the factory indentations for the valves are, but a little off and deeper. i'd say, about 1 or 2mm deeper at most. my question is, would that piston damage cause a loss in compression at the cylinders? or is there any other problem that i'd experience due to that damage? i'd hate to put the car back together, start it and have a loss in power, or worse. any help would be appreciated. i have some pics, but they dont show much depth.

theyre fine....i put motors together that had much worse scores in the pistons and they ran great, no loss in power noticed at all.
