fmic installed. How much can i advance the timing to help performance. i am running about 20 21 at idle and about 8- 10 at wot.

It would be nice of you to post a log in 3rd or 4th gear. And why are you wanting ot advance your timming. What are you mods? Post a log fo us so we can see why you are not gettin more timing advance.. which you could be running really lean and knocking..

Your timing is maxing out at 8-10* of advance or you are adding that amount of timing advance.

Typically on pump gas you want to see between 18-22* of timing by redline.

If your timing is that low you should look into why before trying to add timing.

ill post a complete log with my data logger. As it sits now the timing is read to be 20 21 at idle and about 8-10 at WOT. I am getting that data from the data logger i havent touched anything yet. I havent had any problem knocking.

Mods

6bolt completly rebuilt with eagle rods 7.8 compression stage 3 head act 2900 cutch. 14b MBC fuel pump rewire greddy fmic 24r kit intake soon 1gn bov 13-14 psi greddy evo 3in down pipe back. 8mm plug wires. and a cone air filter.

How did you set and what did you set your base timing to and with for your 6 bolt swap there is something wrong with 8-10* WOT if that is what the logger is telling you or are you getting +10* from base timing? If that is the case then you should see about 20* in your logs. My 6 bolt with listed mods is hitting 23* advance WOT. If you are that low there is a knock problem or the base timing is wrong.
