Timeing Cover holes

not even sure if the part im talking about is the timing cover, but i replaced a harmonic balencer yesturday and when i removed it part of the outer ring the balencer connects to had a small 1 inch hole worn into it, should i worry about this?

nvm i cant draw it , when you remove your hamonic balencer you can see the circle hole where that it covers , then around the outer edge of that theres a cover around it , that has a hole in it.

Somewhere on this you mean there's a small hole?
