Alright I have a 99 eclipse rs
throwout bearing is shot...makes that ridiculous sound
heres where the problem comes...my driver side wheel bearing is also shot and bought a new hub and could not get the old hub out of the drive shaft...used a sledge, heated it, a puller...u name it i tried it...is it practical to just take out the drivshaft buy a nother hub (cuz i destroyed the one i bought trying to swap them) and a throwout bearing or just taking it in to get it fixed...
has ne one done this..is it hard? and also if n e ones taken it in for the TOB how much was it roughly
please help i can stand the noise n e more
THANKS

I would like to help, but I'm having a difficult time understanding what your question is...

...yea kinda confusing but i too also have a problem with the throw-out bearing it makes a really wierd noise unless i push the clutch in all the way but only some of the time. isnt the throw-out bearing a little plastic thing in the middle of the clutch that releases pressure or something? i heard its a cheap part but the labor is killer

The clutch fork pushes the "throwout bearing" against the inside fingers of the clutch cover assembly (pressure plate) thereby releasing presser against the clutch disc that is sandwiched against the flywheel surface. It is this clutch disc that eventually wears down through this constant friction process. When this disc wears down to far it will score the flywheel surface and clutch pressure plate surface. The squealing is usually an indication that the disc and or clutch/throwout bearing needs to be replaced...

Replacing a clutch and or throwout bearing, means removing the transmission.
