DON'T let the dealer fix it! Heck buy a motor from somewhere after you get an estimate from them. Buschur or SBR sell motors, SBR sells longblocks, fair price. Mark

115k miles on the motor.

I'm going to get a second opion and do my own compression test.

Mitsu said they were going to need 2 more hours of labor to find out why, then called back later and said the ingnition issue MIGHT be the coil pack, $180, and won't guarntee it's the problem and came up with 3 different numbers on my #3 cylinder, didn't open up the motor but still tried to charge me the 2hrs labor. What a rip...:notgood:

I took my car back and olny paid the origonal 1st hour. Got home and put new coil pack in for the #2 and #3, didn't fix it.

Pulled the wires again one at a time and the car almost stalled when I pulled 1,2 and 4 but didn't affect the motor at all when I pulled 3.....so still looks bad.

I have a couple shops, not Mitsu, to get the work done that have done 4g63s before.

Bad news - I won't be able to put my new 50trim on next month.
Good news - my new motor we be able to handle the turbo and should be done all at once. I just wanted to do my own turbo setup.....oh well...
