trying to take care of all the common boost leak areas. im replacing the shaft seals according to VFAQ. ive run into two concerns. A its says MIKUNI Corporation. anyone ever heard of this? B the plate looks like it was backwards. or atleast the screws were. can someone help me out this a pic real quick on which way this is suppose to go and any comments on MIKUNI corp. its bigger than the stock 2g throttle body

That looks like a stock 2g throttle body (3 nipples towards the intake manifold). Assuming that it is, the screws are in the correct way. The shaft is countersunk on the side towards the throttle body elbow for the screw heads.

And the logo on the FIAV is correct - almost every throttle body I've worked on has that company name on it.

hmm never noticed that. maybe because my other one was so corroded. comparing the shaft to another shaft out of another 2g throttle body. theres a difference. the size of the plate seem to be the same. this one is just a little newer looking and rounded edges instead of straight accross cut.
