Hi, 1G talon tsi, the water pipe that runs across the front of the block... the factory turbo gets its water supply from there im guessing..? (or its return) Either way, im running a oil cooled turbo now, so i need to plug that line.

I removed the old water line but have a hole left in the tube, i was considering installing my electric sensor there for my coolant temp gauge, but i need to know the thread size/pitch for that.

Anyone know the thread size/pitch for the water line on the coolant pipe that runs across the front of the 4g63 turbo's?? I removed the line and need to plug/adapt it, thanks

Thanks.

I removed the line, however if i cannot find a plug for it, i may just cut the line off the fitting flush and weld up the fitting making my own plug, i don't want to permantly close the hole off incase i ever want to run a water cooled turbo.

Thanks, i may have trouble finding a plug in that thread, but i can just as easily make one out of the stock piece.
