If he got a matching hood and lost the wing, that would be a good lookin' 1G. I don't think those rims look that bad.

well just look at the rear bumper in my pics bro it has stock suspension and the rearbumper didnt have one crack when i bought it as soon as i got it off the flat bed it cracked the body kit is brittle as hell and once you have the kit on it will prob sit as low as 2-4 inches off the ground

and all bodykits do is attract police attention to your self
i got pulled over in a black stock jetta imagine how bad it will be in a car that stands out my uncle knows a cop and he told me that if you have any noticeable body mods like a bodykit dark tint tail lights fart can or a wing cops will pull you over and find a reason to pull you over

dont do it listen to the people that are trying to help you out. the only way i would ge a body kit is for better air flow i no as soon as people read my post they are thinking in there head im a dumb ass but for a 2g the r34 bumper has a nice opening for a front mount. if anybody wants to see pix its on andysautosport.com under talon and i think i would only get the r34 front bumper no side skirts or rear bumper. but if you must get a body kit please dont get a fiberglass one.

yup and for some reason i think it would look nice with a evo wing becuase the bumper is kinda boxy and so is the wing idk tell me what you would think of that.to then op dont mean to jack ## thread LOL sorry

there are only a few body kits that look good, R32 isn't one of them. VeilSide, Rudora, Maybe the Cyber Body Kit. There is also that front bumper that looks stock but has a few add ons.

Oh yeah, the one body kit I would do, is a huge like 16peice body kit that doesn't come with a front or rear bumper. Its a wide body kit that is built to allow you to use whatever front or rear bumper you wish. I would get that for the 2g, and use the stock front and rear bumpers, and mod the side skirts to look stock... Which would make the car wider... And then have a lip kit and a cf rear lip.

And thats all 2g! I've owned 3 2g's. I would only do the Wide body Kit with stock or VeilSide front and rear bumpers, and it would have to be an AWD to Acomodate the wider wheels. Which you could use Cobra wheels if you wished...

There is no body kit that makes a 1g look good, except the few that was made by the Diamond Star Motors Plant.

well i guess each has his own but i like the r34 or r32 what ever it is only because its not like stupid extreme like boomex and others its very subtile and has a nice opening for a big front mount because i no alot of people are hacking up there bumper for more air and its pretty cheap and its not fiberglass

i agree completely. the only reason you should be putting extra body parts on is if your making it wider to fit bigger tires or its for actual downforce reasons a.k.a splitters and lips and the only reason they should go on is because your autox or on the track every weekend

I prefer how the 1G looks stock IMO, the front doesn't look too bad but I think the back is a little much. Atleast the mesh will keep the woodland critters out of your FMIC. And those usually replace the bumper, not a hood oranament. But then again I haven't been to a hot import nights show lately, or ever for that matter, those crazy kids putting bumpers over the windshields again.

I used to have th same kit on my car a few years ago. I can tell you now that I never regret removing it. If that is what you want to do, more power to ya though. If you do it, just make sure you dont half ass it when installing it. Put it on so everything fits right. I think thats half the problem with body kits, is that no one wants to take the time and make them fit like an oem piece!
