well i have my dual stage mbc, and after i fixed my problem i took it for a spin and had it on low settings(stock) i have a vtrim turbo, and when i got on it the boost went right to about 12psi, does this sound about right for stock boost setting, I havent set the high settings yet. what you guys think

For low, stock settings it should be right around 11.5 - 12.5psig (at least my 1g was set at that).

Factory settings say 44 - 101 kPa which converts to 6.38 - 14.65 PSI.

I'm not really sure what you're asking.

If you're asking if this sounds right on the low setting, it will depend on what spring your wastegate is running. That means if you have a 12psi wastegate solenoid, the wastegate will open at 12psi. With the above in mind, the lowest you will be able to set the boost with a MBC will be 12psi.

Now if you have a 15 psi wastegate and you're only running 12psi, then there is definitely a problem. Like another huge boost leak, pre turbo exhaust leak, etc, etc.

If you're asking if it's ok to run that low of boost. Sure it is. It's just not running anywhere near the turbo's efficiency range. Turn it up.
