ECMlink This is how you wire a 2g with AEM UEGO and DSMLink for logging

I haven't seen any clear explanations of this so here it is.

RED from the AEM UEGO - Power (this is a black wire with red stripes) (pin 12 or 25 on a 2G ECU)
BLACK from the AEM UEGO - Chassis ground (this is a black wire) (pin 13 or 26 on a 2G ECU)

The two wires above are next to each other on a 2g wiring harness.

WHITE from the AEM UEGO - Analog output (this is a white wire) (pin 73 for MDP, pin 75 for Rear O2). Be careful here because there are 3 white wires next to one another, choose the correct one using this link:

Blue you do not wire- I left it taped off.

That's it. Or you can wire red and black to the cigarette lighter. For the pin 75 which is your original input from your stock secondary O2 sensor - you cut the wire going to the ECU from the harness leaving enough room so you can wire the white wire from the AEM UEGO to the cut on the ECU CUT SIDE. Tape the other end coming from the harness off. Make sure you disable the rear O2 using DSMLink so that you don't throw a CEL. There are a few other wires you can use in place of the pin 75 but if you are running a wideband you probably don't need the secondary O2 anyway.
 
Thanks for that post! I have been wanting to be able to log my uego wideband for a while now but I could not find a good description on how to do it. I didnt want to start taking guesses and screw something up. Everyone just says to look at the pin out, but that doesnt really help. I really appreciate this how-to.

Now I have another question. Could you do a how to on wiring an aem 3.5 bar map to be logged with dsmlink. I have the map sensor already installed for my hyperdrive digital alcohol injection and the guys on the link forums told me it could also be used with link.
You wouldnt happen to know how to do this by chance?

I honestly do not know. But I will research it in a few weeks when I install mine. My apologies.
 
There were no clear instructions. But yes- rear o2 is not the only one you can use. MDP has been known to give problems with dsmlink according to some posts read at dsmlink forums.

Do you have links to those posts? I haven't heard that before.

I do know the Baro input has an internal pull down resistor making it unsuitable for certain sensors.
 
Correct- my mistake, it was baro input.
 
Sorry to bring this back, but I still have a couple questions.
First, my aem wb02 and 3.5 bar are already installed. So would I have to do all of the wiring or would there just be one wire from each sensor to go to the ecu?
Second, I was thinking of using pin 75 (rear 02) for the wb. What should I use for the map?
Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate any help. I just put a jmf smim on and I have a new fp race manifold ready to go on as well. I just want to have those sensors logged so I can get the best tune out it.
