Just picked up a 92 gsx auto.

From what I've read these are supposed to come with the smaller 13g turbo.
However the compressor side of the turbo on the car says TD05H which Is bigger than a 13g.

Car looks completely stock everywhere under the hood, so I'm wondering if the previous owner swapped to a 14b turbo or im just retarded.

Thanks for the help.

Turns out it's a 14B. Pretty cool.

I also have a 1G auto mani on the car. So that ends the dispute of if it will work or not.

You can just port the manifold to match the tdo5 gasket. IT is a lot of material to remove, but it's not that hard to to. Basically trace the pattern onto the manifold from the td05 gasket. Now take a drill and drill holes along the outside diameter of the traced hole. Keep the outside of the drill hole inside your traced pattern. IF you make the holes close enough together than you will be able to take a chisel and knock the big section out. From there take a die grinder and smooth out the rest.

I chucked my auto manifold into the dumpster as fast as I could. It's an oddball and not worth it's weight in scrap iron.... :)

Change the manifold!

The car skipped timing, and the motor is now f'ed. LOL

I'm gonna be parting it out.
