Don't know if this got posted up or not. Very moving for me.

YouTube - Embrace Life - always wear your seat belt

This one really got me. It does a good job show how your actions affect not only your family, but all those close to you, and all those close to other people.

And to Ramsack....You're an idiot. Everything I've seen you post on here has been completely idiotic. "Its ok to drive fast because I do it better then everyone else, and everyone else drives like a retard, thats what gets them killed." What are you 12? You can't possibly believe what you're posting on here. I'm scared for all the people you drive around. Its people like you, that cause accidents like this. You want to drive fast better than anybody else? Go get your new racer's certification, enter an amateur league, and do it at your local track. And seat belt law's aren't bullsh*t. Wearing my seatbelt saved my life when I was 19, and it saved my Dad's 10 years ago.

The simple fact of this entire post is cars are dangerous. Dangerous to drivers, pedestrians, and passengers. It doesn't matter how good of a driver you are, you don't know what anybody else around you is doing. There are auto related death's everywhere...at the track, on the street, or involving pedestrians. The entire message here is be careful. Your actions can have serious rippling consequences no matter where you are, or what you are doing.

i just hold the phone down to my side by the shifter and text with my right hand (which usually just holds the shifter anyways, which doesnt move during most my commute). I dunno, i guess the retards against TWD have no button memorization (even touch screens can be memorized) and gotta stare at the screen to input "K be there in 10" and hit send.

haha agreed man. i look down to see who the text is from and thats it.

Seal belt laws are bullshit, it should be my choice whether I want to live or die in an accident. Bikers don't have to wear helmets, so why should I have to wear a seat belt? It's just a way for the assholes who run the country to make money by ticketing. As I said before, know what you're talking about when you make claims or name call. You have no idea how I drive, you have no idea how the roads are here, or other cars act. Just shut up. Everything is dangerous. People who take life so seriously are God damn idiots. Lighten up. You're not going to live forever, so stop pursuing that in hippie causes. Get a life, live it, and quit mourning for others. There should be a separate continent for you bleeding heart people. And most of you act like this for your own conscience, not because you actually care.

Seatbelt laws (like many other librool protect-the-dumb laws) are there to protect the stupid people from proving darwanism exists. Which actually is why our race is slowly stupifying itself into extinction, the idiots procreate at rapid pace while the ones smart enough to succeed go "#### raising kids in this world!" For more information, see the first 5min of "Idiocracy" if you need to see whats happening in dumbed down movie form.

CA has a motorcycle helmet law. Really, if you want to ride at 80-90mph without a helmet.......by all means why should a law stop you? Oh yeah, because it has nothing to do with the riders safety, it has everything to do with giving the officers (RE: Revenue Enhancement Officers) another excuse to pull you over and for the state to get your $$$$.

I don't understand these laws that protect people based on their choices. If someone wants to do drugs and become a junkie, they will die, and not be missed by the gene pool. If someone wants to just not live, they should be allowed to die. They will most likely try at nothing in life and be a total drain on the world. If I got into an accident I would rather die than be saved and become a vegetable or miss anything more than a finger or toe. I don't get why one's choice to live or not can be a legal consequence.

It was something just like this why I got out of street racing. I was lucky that it was someone else that killed a women and her baby and not me.

Same street I used to race on
Same days I used to race on
Same hours I used to race.
It just so happened that it was him and not me.

So yes, this video has an impact on me. I wish I had the picture of my old Talon.

Driving fast on public roads and driving like a "****tard" are the same things.
Correct!
Wah wah. Driving faster on a highway...If it is empty then you are really only hurting you...it's not the driver's fault for hitting them...and I'm not a stupid driver. But then again, I find joy in other people's pain.

Wow, I am dumbfounded concerning the people being so selfish to not care about injuring, or killing, other motorists. I understand the importance of “Freedom” and making choices on your own, but making “poor decisions” intentionally is selfish (and immature). As mentioned, I hope that I can also avoid these “selfish” drivers. Admittedly, I often travel at the “speed of traffic” even if it is above the speed limit because it may be sensible to travel without aggravating everyone else. Nevertheless, driving requires being attentive for the unexpected, as well as recognizing the road conditions. Yes, I have made stupid choices while driving, but I consider myself lucky (no tickets, no one injured) even though I pay attention to the conditions. Still, I am not proud of the times that I have been “lucky,” meaning that I refrain from such behavior.

Certainly, during infrequent situations, not wearing a helmet, not wearing a seatbelt, or not driving according to the road conditions (proper speed), could result in favorable results. However, when the results fail to be favorable, then the unfortunate thing happens. For those who feel that his/her “choice” is the most important, what about the poor young children (or anyone that survives) witnessing your brains splattered all over the road because you chose to not obey common sense (laws)? So, I guess those affected children (any survivors) do not matter, their emotional/physical struggles are “their” lifelong problems.

Apparently, some people should discuss driver responsibility with a law enforcement person, or a traffic lawyer/judge, because their ideas about “fault” are misunderstood. An accident is something unexpected, yet as a driver, you need to understand your responsibilities as a driver. When someone else does something unexpectedly stupid, responsibility exists on a driver trying to avoid the worst situation.

Aside from logic, I suggest that the “selfish” drivers go to the largest nearby rehabilitation center that handles automobile accident victims. In addition to seeing the severe injuries, ask the victims (that are coherent) what they think about drivers that drive without thoughtfulness.

I've come to the conclusion, this topic is retarded you can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

Drive how you want, end of story.

Fine, let’s assume that all "drivers" should act “how you want.” Then, broaden the word “drive” for its meaning. Using this, truck drivers, military vehicle drivers, bus drivers, train engineers, and airplane pilots should all operate their controls however they wish to do it. Laws, and common sense, should not apply. Well, I imagine it would not take long for the general population to become reduced by a large amount. Surely, having the “freedom” to do whatever you want while operating a “vehicle” makes complete sense. Your choice to drive a vehicle exceedingly fast, while being distracted by a social communication device, and expecting everyone else to avoid you might create a trivial consequence compared to the pilot that feels like crashing the landing gear into your vehicle because the pilot chose to do it. What a world this would be.

The part with the mother getting hit by the Geo with the boy hits really hard. and so does the part with the baby hitting the window, things like that woman holding a fake child make me want to cry. Things like that happen at such an instant, they are gone in the blink of an eye, it wont be back, nothing brings that back. there is no undo button on life. i totaled my car, luckily it was just the car, it breaks my heart far worse to watch a fake video of a mother or child being killed rather than my car being destructed. The children dont always understand, when things like that happen. not at that age, its hard to set in no one should live without there parents.

Exactly!

My intelligence? Even though you use run on sentences, as well as poor grammar and punctuation, I agree it is not rational to "drive how you want." Using sarcasm, that was my point!

Please, explain to me what "none sense" means.

This is an internet forum, not a high school exam. Seem like you understood the reply well. My consciousness most of the time thinks I'm typing the word none instead of non. Really, could you not foresee this?

Yes your intelligence it brings you back here preaching your ''miraculous lecturing'' is best used in remedial driving classes not a 90% performance oriented comunity.
This is a very small community compared to whats outside your door.
I'd like to say most of us with overpowered cars have a great sense of saftey and know when to stretch the legs on the car you have to learn to repect the vehicle. Seriously the video is really retarded try reviewing deaths from street racing vs real criminal activities you're wasting your time.
