2G Thermostat replacement

Okay so i recently bought a stant superstat to replace my thermostat. I did notice however that it doesnt have an air bleed valve. My next question I read for the reviews off advanceautoparts is some guy recommended to remove the coolant temp sensor to let air vent out. Does this sound right? Thanks

I always just fill it up and start the car with the cap left off and let it warm up with the heater on high. As it needs I keep topping off the coolant. Then when it gets up to normal temperature and the thermostat opens you will have to add more coolant to keep it topped off. Then it will reach a point where it will be up to temp and will not take any more coolant. Now is the time to put on the cap and everything should be good to go. You can pull the cap and check it to make sure it's full after it has completely cooled down. Make sure it's full under the cap and in the overflow reservior and your good for sure.

You could do that, but it's overkill for these cars. Some cars you have to bleed them but they'll almost have bleeder valves for that.

I just used a thermostat from there but if i remember right it was 180 degree. They said that was oem. Ran without cap and have had no air problems
