Thermostat Housing

OK I'm finishing up a 6 bolt swap and trying to solve this little issue. I look through the gallery and its seems like a bunch of people have different thermostat housings. So the basic deal is....I've got Square connecting to the turbo for water feed but I'm not sure if the circled pipe is supposed to be hooked up. I'm thinking it needs to get blocked off but thats a guess. And of course the unmarked pipe goes to the overflow tank. Can anyone verify my therory? Specifically those who've done a 6 bolt swap.

circle is the turbo water, square is for the oil filter housing.

Ok so if I have mine set up for externally cooled I'd just block it off right? and in that case would it matter if I had the turbo running off the oil cooler pipe
