1gs and 2gs look super sexy without the wing. Plan to do mine with a cf hatch

are you kidding me??? There are supras out there with stock internals making over 1000whp everywhere. They are a little expensive but have you ever seen one? They are also made alot better than a mustang and hold their value more thats why they cost so much still. You can get a bone stock one for as low as 18 19 grand or less put 10 or so into it and make killer "reliable" horsepower. I was at a dyno shop 2 weeks ago while my friend was getting his gst tuned and there was a supra with nothing but bolt ons making 700whp like nothing. Its all about preference really but if i was going for a car to make alot of horsepower and keep for a while i would not think twice about getting a supra. I wonder what kind of gas mileage the mustang gets also? Supras have been known to obtain almost 25mpg in there high horsepower state

Hey does any one know about removeing a spoiler off a 1991 eclipse and if so can you tell me and maybe send pics of it to. And is it easy or hard?:dsm:

I can't imagine it's more than detaching the underside trim on the interior of the hatch and then unbolting the spoiler. There' the filling of the holes + painting that's the tough part.

:dsm:I have a new hatch if it and thank you guy for helping me out. I just need to see how the side parts of the spoiler come off. :dsm: So it should not take to long to weld up some little holes and then get it to my painter.:dsm::talon::laser:

Here is mine recently went wingless I like the look :D

No wing looks beautiful. Loose the antenna and rear wiper too.

I am totally commited to remving the spoiler on my GS-T Spyder. I think it's the one thing that'll make the car stand out. Well, that and some of those Euro amber tails. :)

I don't know, I have mixed reviews. I love the 2gb talon spoiler because it adds the character, but on the other hard the car looks so sleek, especially with my all black color scheme.

They are curvy, aggressive styled cars, with out the car the car in the back looks rounded and dont look right. I would still rock the wingless on a 1g, but i want a slow looking sleeper look.

Yeah i agree but i think it would be fun to have a sleeper stock looking wingless 1g with just a front mount.

Just thought I'd make my contribution (sorry, my before pictures aren't all that great):

I know that a majority of people will hate on the carbon fiber drift wing, but at times I REALLY LOVED IT. I do like the wingless look a lot too and is probably the more "grown up" choice. Feel free to give me your honest opionions... both good and bad on either set up (I still have the carbon wing in the garage if I feel like switching back).

Thanks!

Damn, you murdered that perfect 2g hatch with the holes for that hideous wing.

:D It's all good.

Eh... it was only 4 holes. The previous owner had a super ugly aluminum wing that really effed up the hatch lid. If you see the car up close and in person, you can see that the body work is MUCH needed.
