the start of my rebuild let me know what you guys think

just started the rebuild on my 90 talon just a few shots from the last two days of the rebuild....when i pulled the pistons out of the block the guy was running way to lean well at least i tthink becasue all the pistons had cracks in them and they were all melted haha but im fixing all that i have a new head to be put on new pistons rings rods bearings exhaust manifold the turbo is staying on becasue its in good shape

The car we did definitely had better compression on all four after the rebuild and proper break-in.

The ones i read never checked the bore. If the bores check out good, theres no reason you shouldnt have good compression with a rering

I can't understand why anyone would go through all that work and not check the bore. What's it take, an extra 15 minutes? The only tool required is a $5 feeler gauge!

me neither, but i bet youd be surprised
I bet alot reassemble with rings in wrong position as well causing compression or smoking issues. I did my first time years back but luckily caught it before i installed it and had no issues.

update on the build guy.....put new cv boots on haha not that interseting but still something that needed done the new pistons and rods are at the machine shop getting pressed on becasue i dont have a hydrolic press got new bearings today for only 23 bucks brand new!!! it was a pain in the ass to find them tho around where i live but i dint give up and found them real cheap i wont be able to finish the build until next thursday friday and saturday becasue of my schedule...ughh it sucks haha i just want this thing runnin but as we all know its not an easy process

update on the build everyone.....for some reason it wont let me put the pics on here but here is the photo bucket where the pics are Pictures by talontsi90 - Photobucket put the new pistons on the rods and the new bearings in put the new oil pan in bolted the head to the intake and put the injectors in and the fuel rail on just need to put that and the new head gasket on tom and hook everything back up and she should be rollin... i hope ohh and clean out the engine bay once its all back together from the other persons oil leak
