Iam buyin a ssq bov from hks and i love how it sounds when you get into the second chamber with the tweet and lots of air behind it but i have a totally stock 93 laser turbo will i be able to hear what i like or will i just get the whistle which i dont like by itself? how much psi does it take to get into chamber 2 maybe?

If you do get the HKS ssqv bov make sure you get the recircalation kit. The reason behind that is becuase if you vent it to the atmosphere you will be running rich and your car won't be running to well. If you go with the hks with the recirc. I dont think it would be to loud but im not to sure about that. I myself run the hks bov but I have the gm maf (blow trough) and I have no problems venting becuase of that. So if you go with a gm maf then you will be able to hear the bov nice and loud.

It isn't very known but the HKS's have a tendency to surge. I bought the SSQV thinking i would solve all my problems with it, [dont have to worry about leaking] But it started surging... and now i wasted my money on it... I lubed the valve and it stopped the surging but only for a short period of time.
