Jesus, I make one Viagra joke and everyone want's to get on me and my age. I'll have all of you know that I am a very immature 32 year old.

If your already rebuilding, 2.4 to spool those big turbos.
$.02

if you stoke a 4G63 with the 100mm crank you get 2274cc engine hence the 2.3L. If you want a 2.4L you gonna need the 4GCS block from a mid-90s Galant. On the SoCAL froms somewhat did a write up on converting the block to make it compatible for a 1G. THe guy said if he had to do it again he wouldnt go through all the extra work for an extra 100cc :dsm:

nah no way dont worry larry your not old neither are you jesse. We were just busting his balls

Heh ok 32, i figured you for 29 at the most larry.

EDIT: I just realize my son will be old enough to beat up everyones else's kids (if ya got em that is) in school soon so NAAAA! :D

yeah larry and shadow no need to make fun of you guys.........i always respect the elderly :thumb: LOL

:talon: Monty :talon:

Yesterday i stopped by Andy house to see how his engine rebuild is going. That car is goiing to be a beast. Oh yea if you need an extra parts Andy has more than a junkyard LOL

Ok i need some advice (and maybe some direction also...)

Getting a tax return really soon, $3660 bucks. Im going to buy my wife a 1G 93 Talon in all likelyhood for $1200....now she can stop bitching.....

However, what should i treat myself to? I was thinking about a stage 1 turno...but damn thats a big ass chunk of change (about all of it...)......

I dunno...rims/tires? C/F Hood? SAFC-II? A New suspension to match my 2" drop?
Racing seats? What about a Shep Tranny? Damn theres alot of things open to me, and alot i proably havent thought of.

Any ideas? (and if ya know a good place to get a deal.....)

Eek good point, that was pretty scary there....

We need to do that again preferably after I get my car fixed :D . Wich has now been delayed  Thanxs to good old uncle sam :thumbdown , Suposeddly I under submmitted last year and I was supposed to have payed more than I actually did so they are takeing it out of this years tax return wich leaves me with about 300 buck in the end. Never ever work as an independent contractor for long periods of time, it's nice getting all your money up front but at the end of the year you ar screwed. HAving to pay it all up front.

OEM Carbon fiber hood......$180
Dual Matrix Racing seats w/brackets sliders = $280

Installed for me, and ready to go.

What next.......... :D

Suspension, wheels and tires, man you gotta get that thing hugging turns that way you can go to Ortega Hwy with no scares this time. You could probably score a full set of KYB struts an d Eibac springs for like 5 bills, and some nice strut bars for like 40 for the set.

I already have the strut bars, though i didnt have them then. Also im running with sprint springs with also works out pretty well. That leaves the shocks i suppose...

I have a Valentine 1 and a Passport 8500. The new Valentine Ones have too many false alarms, so i would say the Passport is a better choice right now. I can tell you they work.

Im waiting on the suspension parts, my guy said to hold off for awhile and he could proably swing me a nice deal on some Illuminas in a month or two.

I went with an Unorthodox UDP, CF Hood w/pins (and free install on the hood and pins), Rear Sway bar (already had front). Gagues, pod, and some knick nacks.....

Wow, talk about burning through cash......

EDIT: Heh, this hood is going to look interesting, those of you who know me and the car also know that it has proably one of the most unusual stock gold/green color changing paintjobs ever to come from Mitsu. Ill post pictures tomorrow when its on ;)
