I spent some time getting my vac pump installed for the brakes. I need to make a dedicated board for all my new relays and electronics. Cant seem to find a good spot.

Small update. I got a Morrison fab downpipe (which is extra) and decided to wrap it.

Also got a female USB union and decided to have dsmlink and forced four going to the back of it. Then I can just have a double male USB to plug into laptop. I always leave my cable plugged in out of habit. Thos will hide them.

This is my biggest (yet still small compared to other people) fab project. I decided to make my own small metal bumper. Mainly to have a surface to mount coolers or whatever I want. I plan on trimming the bumper to allow more air to the coolers. I definitely need to make a v2 and v3 of this. I am definitely not happy with how it came out. I wanted to use the factory bumper mounts but I'm not sure how to get the mounting holes to be perfectly straight. Its definitely functional. I decided to trim the fiberglass bumper and keep it so it acts as a riser. I had to improvise since the holes were not straight.

Curious of other people's thoughts on this.

Just a heads up, Morrison Fab advises against heat wrap of any sort. Not to mention the possibility of oil leaking onto it and the wrap burning like a candle.

Yeah it traps moisture, 321 is better at accepting wrap but still not ideal. A proper thremo inconal barrier is best but not bloody cheap

Just run it bare baby! SS holds heat well as is. My downpipe isn't wrapped nor my alternator relocated, and I've not had a single issue.

I did use dei silicone heat spray as well on the metal and wrap. Not sure if that is the problem solver or not. I also used to have my manifold wrapped as well and I can say that my coolant temp definitely get hotter without the wrap. And I can confirm that with a temp gun the wrap drops the metal temp by 75-100 degrees. For my application, I think wrapping the hot parts works well. However i do understand the moisture and oil fire concern. The only thing I can comment in is the oil leak. I have spent decent amount of time making sure the car is leak free. The moisture thing, I cant comment. I greatly appreciate the thoughts.

I do want to work on more fabrication projects on the car.

Its been while since I posted a car update. I decided to tidy up some things. I made a unit to hold two gauges in place of the ac knobs. I also put my gear display in as well. Also made a body for my switch panel. At least it looks more professional.

Also made a different gauge pod to house my 3 temps gauges. I already had one but I wanted a unit to hold the 4way button.

Looking sexy! Watch out with that heat exchanger mounting orientation. Both fittings aimed down is a no-no. Stupid air pockets.
