got my car running well now...changed my ecu to my 90 EPROM...just have to track down a few smaller problems then ill be out and about on it...

Can't wait to get your car out on the streets again...

Fallon was pretty sweet this weekend. Saw some familiar faces. I was actually suprised how many DSMs were out there. Can't wait to go next time, hopefully we can get your car out there John.

Yeah that mustang was nice... you couldn't even hear the blower on it. How fast was that cobra you ran?

sounds good...

as soon as i get my little problems worked out ill have to meet ya somewhere and show you the car john...doesnt look much like it did when i got it from you...the motor mounts are rough man the car is a massage machine...

so it was an ecu problem? or have you left something out?

Are you talking to me? The cobra didn't run... I guess it was just to look at :rolleyes: But do you guys know of that import creations or whatever - they are located behind washoe med (next to suisies xxx shop) - with the red, supercharged 350z? He came out and strutted his stuff.... best time of a 14.7.
 
Yeah I thought you ran that newer red one. Maybe not. Are you talking about NEAC? That shop is mostly for drifters.
 
I've been there a couple of times and the shop is nothing impressive. But I have to admit, the guys that work there have some really nice cars. I saw their yellow evo today. They also have a turbo integra, turbo 240, that s2000 that is supposed to be supercharged...so yeah, nice cars, but a crappy shop.

That's a pretty weak time for a supercharged 350z.

yeah it was an ecu problem...that ecu that u gave me with the car was messed up...i threw mine from my blue car into my white car and it works perfect now...i need to get a new battery and/or alternator...

the car is alot faster then it was in my 90 aswell i dunno why that is...same motor and tranny...im buying a sportbike on friday(daily driver) and after that i will start getting together my mods...

they are a shop geared towards drifters for sure...you know because we have alot of them around reno!

hey john/josh/justin...

on the diagnostic port on a 90 there are 6 wires going to it and on my 91 there are 5 wires where it is supposed to be...i cut off the clip from the 90 and am trying to see how to wire it up...i was wondering which wire doesnt need to be there...and what colors go to which...anyone know? the setup is...*wire side clip up...*


*yellow red dashes not stripes* =1
*black blue stripes and red dashes*=2
*white red dashes*=3
*yellow white stripe red dashes*=4
*yellow with black strips*=5
*black red dashes*=6
*0*=no wire
(there are 5 holes on the top as the clip takes two of them)

i think sherra is the only one with a 91...
im sure any car 91 and newer has the same diagnostic port config...

if someone has a 91 plug that would like to post the wire colors and locations on the plug i would appreciate it...i havent been pulling codes(im sure i will soon) but i need it for tuning reasons...

Sorry dude, I dont know that stuff. You could buy a manual.
 
i got it all figured out now a buddy of mine gave me the clip(diagnostic port) and the difference between the 5 wire and 6 wire is that the on the 5 wire the black wire with blue stripe isnt on it...

i took the car out for the first time(well from leaving my neighborhood area) lastnight...drove to stead and back without one single problem...beat a turbo hatch on my way home...light was red i stopped and it went green after i stopped and he was already rolling so by 5000 in 2nd i was 1 car ahead then halfway through 4th i was around 6 cars ahead of him :nono: ...gotta love 10psi!!!!on a stock car!

hey justin do ya think after work tomorrow you can come over and help with my clutch issues i went out today and it is no bueno...i think i may need a new slave cylinder...it just needs to work til i get my tranny then i can buy a new one if need be...i need to make some money on this 400 dollar car!!!!

john get ahold of me on my cell. let me tune the car and ill put up $50 for you to race ryan. so josh "backed out" huh? funny ive seen it run and i *guarantee* itll smoke you ryan when the bugs are worked out. i wish i could run 13.0 on a low 11 sec setup. at least i had a good excuse ROFL
