cool thanks!
i like this response better. john, you need to do some things on your own man. me and josh spent alot of time under the hood to know what we know. get your hands dirty. if you screw up then ask questions.

Hey Johnny Wing Sauce, if you run the factory shit from your 91, and bolt it to the 90 motor (which it will with no problems), then you shouldnt have to change anything on the wiring harness. Its as easy as playing with leggos.

alright cool...

should have the 91's motor out friday...

the 90's will come out afteri get a few parts that are going with it...
i cant wait either ryan...u will be sooo cool beating a 14b stock car!!!

Wow Ryan. People HATE you. Thats ok, people hated me a year ago. The only reason people are civil to me right now is because I dont have a car, but by summer Im sure I'll be more hated than you. People dont like it when you are the fastest. Im the one challanging everyone else saying I can beat whatever you got on your DSM with my 14b car, theres nothing wrong with answering my challange. I think people just want to see me beat you because right now you are the fastest (even though you are geek with a big turbo that runs slower than a well tuned 14b car - you suck by the way).

Too bad Ryan's not the fastest... I was there when he lost to Chris. And I'm sure john hill's old car would beat him... There's other reasons why people don't him. :shhh:

Yeah, I hate it when people DONT me.

Anywho, Ill let you know when Im back in town Josh :p

Oh, and Josh... didnt you run mid 13s as well in Sacramento with a 50trim, built engine (pistons/rods) no ac, no power stearing, and 114 race gas? ;)

Honestly, I dont see whats wrong with a full weight (nothing removed), power leather seats, smog passin, pump-gas runnin, daily driven car on 15psi running 13.7s@101mph with a 2.0 60' at 4200 feet. But yeah, I guess your 14b car could beat that time, so Ill probably end up loosin' $20, eh? :(

Ya, I remember that. I dont remember the specifics of the day and why it was running UNDER par (since I was already running mid 12's in Fallon at the time), but it had an unidentified problem I couldnt sort out till I got home. Good try though.
Anyway Ryan, when are you gonna be back? And for how long? And why do you only wanna race for $20? I figured $50 at the least. Get Parker to back you for some of the cash, or one of your chinese mail order brides. Speaking of Parker and chicks, what ever happened to that chick you were bangin that looked like Parker with long hair?

My bad..

Anyways, I never said your car was slow, I just don't think it's the fastest. Don't get me wrong, you'd smoke me ANY day, but that should be expected since your runnin a 50 trim...

Parker lost his wig.

Lol, shes really not that bad guys. If you were to see her in person, you'd hit it...

My point was that you ran mid 13s with MORE stuff than I had, better knowledge, near sea level, ect ect ... shit just happens, yeah? But anyways, Im not sure when Ill be back in town. Me and some guys might go to china for a couple of weeks, but Ill let you know. As for $50... I cant budget loosing that. Im so broke is sad. Japan is expensive.

Oh, and yes.. john, my car WOULD pass visual. Many people run decent times with CATS and I plan to be one of them. I just have a different agenda than you, thats all.

ah the joy of naive youth. that pretty blingy FPR you bought from josh? unless you have an exempt sticker underhood for it you wont pass. this is just a small example of the nazis here.

hey john the motor in the white car came out in like 1 hour...the transfer case would not come off tho...the oil pan prevented the transfer case from completly coming off the 2 shafts that go into the transfer case...so i just disconnected my driveline from the t-case and slid it out...then lifted the motor(w/transmission attatched)...now i just have to pull my blue cars motor...and swap trannys...i still havent redone the harness(injector clips and such) but will try and have the car out by tonight...

so sack up and buy that clutch so you dont have to pull the tranny again anytime soon.

Uh, Im a little weirded out by this. The oil pan will never prevent the T-case from coming off. Second, there is only one shaft that goes into the T-case. If you were trying to slide the T-case off, and the shaft that protrudes from the tranny was sliding with the T-case at ALL, you have bad news my freind. That shaft should stay put in the tranny. It might wiggle an 1/8 of an inch, thats it.

ok so its all done...both motors are out the tranny is off my 91(the one i bought from john)...and my 90 motor is out i havent pulled the trans either...im thinking my center diff isnt broken as after i took my right(passenger side) axle off where it connects to the brake assembly it just fell out...and the clicking i heard was that...but i am still going to put the 91 tranny on...my 90 is notchy and 3rd gear grinds and second does occasionly...so i might aswell just go with the 91 as john says its good...

hey josh...when i was pulling the t-case i was able to pull it to the point that it hit the oil pan...there was only one shaft...im not sure if it slid around or not? it is from the tranny that i dont intend to use so im not worried about it...ok i just went and checked it...the output shaft from the tranny slides off...so that is??? did i explain what it was doing?(when i floor the car it would just rev and boost like it normally did...but i wouldnt accelerate...my speedo was going to 60 mph in first....but i wasnt moving more then 5mph...my axle?and output shaft?)

john dont tempt me LOL...i want to buy it...i will see where im at after payday...if not this next payday then the one after...my only problem is i need my motor back in my car...i was hoping on dropping it in the next couple days...

so all in all it went rather smooth...after the motor is back in im changing the oil/filter...i know i need to refill fluids as all the oil that ran out of my driveline needs to be refilled...would i refill that from the back at the rear diff? what exactly should i get?

actually josh i was planning on using that tranny that has the output shaft that slid out?

should i not use that one?

The output shaft should NOT slide out of the tranny. You will have to crack the case open and remove the VC to reinstall the output shaft. There is also supposed to be a small ball bearing (think bb the size of an eraser) that is part of that assembly. If you removed the output shaft, it probably fell out. DO NOT LOSE IT. Long story short, dont use that tranny until you get it fixed. Oh, and if third gear grinds and youve been shifting it anyway, you probably beat the synchro to death and fatigued the weak cast aluminum shift fork. No bueno.
