Did everyone else die? When I signed back up, there were like 800 people on here, now only Ryan and I are posting. What gives?

I was staying out of the thread reading the insightful posts between you and spoolin... and taking notes. :p

Why would someone pay $50k for a is300 even if it is souped up? Maybe a souped up Supra, but a is300?

I'm still alive. Ive been getting my last little bit of traveling done since school starts on Monday. The GVR-4 is collecting dust, nothing new.

Peregrine, my friend Ben has a pretty quick camero.

what year is it? im not interested in lt-1s only ls-1s. i think i might be leaning more towards a procharged 350z anyway. you can get 300 to the ground on pump gas and with suspension thats enough for 12s. id be happy with that. or maybe not. i really want something with at least 500 to the ground. awwww......... ryan, wheres my freakin compression tester!?!?!? nevermind youll probably need it sooner than me seeing hows you dont know how to tune your car;) LOL :p

I told you where it was.

I think the LS1 is a 97? It's supercharged, so that's why it's powerful.

Nick, did you fix that o2 yet?

Yeah I think so. My turbo timer is now reading a/f and o2. I'm just having a problem with my exhaust manifold studs... they are a !$*&!# *!#& to deal with. I have one that is broken in the block.. the top left one.. and two other ones wont stay in. bah.. i just need something to make them really tight into the block so they dont turn out when i tightend the nut on. Other than that.. things are gravy..

You might want to be careful about drilling a tapping those, some are pretty close to the water jackets. An easy-out is a smarter option, the helicoil it.

thanks for the tip...it will come in handy next time we have to take a broken stud off... :)

Spoolin/ Stock Josh,
just so you know there is a company that sells a fitting for the fuel rail so you don't have to weld in a fitting it cost around 25 bux. So whats the race scene like in reno right now?

Well, the fitting is already welded on. But in any case, what's the company?

The race scene hit an all time low for the past couple months, but it looks like it's picking up.

I didnt break any of my studs when I did my turbo swaps. I must be special or something...

Billet -6 AN Male Flare adapter that bolts onto the stock DSM fuel rails. Allows use of the Aeromotive Regulator and -6 AN stainless fuel lines without having to weld a fitting to the stock rail. Please chose application: Inlet 1g and 2g, outlet 1g, or outlet 2g. These come with a new o-ring and new stainless bolts.

wish they would have had these last year when i built my afpr  would have saved some time. man, every time i look for parts for these cars theres more and more stuff. looks like the dsms are catching up with the hondas as far as parts availability.

No wonder i've been in reno since April and havn't scene very many cars out. Where does everyone meet up? What kind of fast DSMs are in town? And I have heard of some sort of racin in fernley how is it and is it worth the drive?

The "import scene" is dead here. The only racing around here is either at Top Gun or the road course in Fernley.

I went and picked up my regulator. I suppose you can contact me if your still interested Ryan.
