i would be buying it with EMS but the only thing that i dont like is the fact that there are so many miles on the odometer. i took it for a test drive and it pulls like a mother. What do you guys think?

even with all those mods and a brand new 6 bolt with 500 miles? Suggest a price that you think it is worth.

thanks
Mike

Mods reduce market value. IF he finds a customer who wants all the mods he's done, and done in the way he's done them, it _might_ be worth more to that customer. The car's already needed one new engine (that he's admitting to), and unless abused a DSM motor can do 150K easily. Meanwhile, the chassis has undergone more-than-usual use, and none of those bearings are getting any younger in the process.

well i like all the mods he has on this car but i think the price is kinda high. what would be the highest price you would pay for this car? keep in mind that its being sold by a reputable shop. btw what bearings are you refering to?

WOW

you know little to NOTHING about this car yet you are saying its worth HALF of what its listed for. the motor was replaced to put in a much stronger 6 bolt motor. and I would like to see someone put 150,000 miles through a 7 bolt motor and they run 550 Horsepower through it RELIABLY. the motor that was taken out of this car was a completely RUNNING motor that was eventually put into another car. Having Ridden and driven in this car and watched it undergo its transformation I can wholeheartedly say it is worth every penny

on a side not this car is NOT an AMS CAR. Mike (the gentelmen selling it) is not an employee of the shop and NO PROCEDES from this sale are going to the shop. So what I am saying about the car is not some sale propoganda but rather my opinion about a very nice car

Just because the motor is built it means that the stock engine was blown? Very good ASSumtion. Also yes mods make the car less valuable, so ASSuming again the amount of mods on this particular car the owner should pay the buyer additional $5000 for taking this car off his hands.

Also what "BEARINGS are not geting any younger"???? I guess I don't know anything about DSMs, cause I don't know what bearings are you talking about.

You claim that the stock DSM 7 bolt should go well over 150k miles, but the 134k miles on the chassis is way too much???? What should one do then if they have a DSM with higher miles and the engine still runs??? Buy a new chassis and swap the stock engine to a new chassis that has 0 miles on???

If you haven't seen the car, don't know it's history, then please don't say sh!t about it. This is my car that I am trying to sell as a whole right now before I part it out, and I think that 14.5 is a very good deal with all of the work done to it. I could get alot more money turning the car back to stock w/JDM 6 bolt and selling all parts seperate.

Just my .02

Eric and Mike,

Dont think that i am taking all of these oppinions to heart as true i am just looking for some extra help before i make such a purchase. i completely understand that the car is worth the asking price and dont think that just because people are saying things about the car that they are changing my mind about buying it. To say that a dsm with a brand new motor and over 15k just in parts and even more in time is worth 7,250 is completely rediculus. i just wanted to see if i could get some intelligent answers to guide me instead of useless oppinions but as you can see thats hard to do these days. It pisses me off just as much as you to have someone try and convice you that the car your about to buy isnt worth what your paying.

Thanks for the replys

this car is definatly worth the price, ive seen this car a million times and this thing is one of the cleanest 2g ive ever seen. the car has everything you could think of done by one of the best dsm shop in the country.

p.s. buying the car from them will most likly insure that if something goes wrong it woudl be fixed for very little if not free.

i mean what is better then knowing the car is done right from the right people. this car has and will put down more then 500 easy. here is a link to the car

http://home.comcast.net/~michael.bzowski/

p.s. best thing i could say is go in there and talk to eric, martin, kris whoever and see what they could do for you. :thumb:

14.5? wow I dont know what to say..... It is worth 12k at most? And I have to agree with defiant most of our cars last till atleast 150k... whats wrong with it for it to blow... that is a key factor to determine the car's suspension and such...

Defiant might say it in a mean way... but he is right in some regards.

When people tell me T3/T4 50 trim I think what the hell did they do to it? now you have to think all those mods are a bit meh... Even a turbo can blow in 1 day if the person beat it to oblivion. ^^;; well if you want it then get it this is only our opinion but you are aware you are paying 14.5k for a 14 year old used car that has been heavily modded? Good luck to you

Like Erik mentioned before the stock motor from this car was running with no problems and was installed in a different car that still runs.
This car actually has a SC61 turbo on it. I guess if the purpose of this car was being a rather slow 16g or some sort simalar miget turbo powered car, then I guess stock engine would work just fine.

Defiant is right in some regards, and especially about the bearings on the chassis that are not getting any younger.

If I may ask what turbo are you running EvolvingGST???

Maybe thats why he wants so much for it :shhh:

I know were I can find a nice running plymouth laser rs awd turbo. they only want about 2000 for it and it runs and no rust on the body or anything nice red paint job. stock rims and everything else. I dont think anything has been done to it. it looks totaly stock. I believe it was owned by a older person so it probable hasnt relly been messed with except replaced oil filled with gas all that stuff. Well I already have a talon but I was wonderin if I should spend the 2k on this car or get parts for this car I have now. what should I do, I realy would like to have two cars so I can tear down my other and realy build it up. Should I do this or what?

OMG Mike do not listen to those ppl that tell you its over priced, I am not the one to say that its over price or not but I can tell you this, those that say its over price are just jealous cause you will have a 550 WHP and they wont, so just go on and buy so we can start hustling fools for some money :thumb:

Lessee... steering universals, tie rod ends, ball joints, suspension bushings, wheel bearings, carrier bearing, differential bearings, door hinges, sunroof mech, window lifts, door locks, and everything else that moves that hasn't been replaced and is liable to be due for repair or replacement in the near future.

Odd that it doesn't matter as much to me from the outside as it seems to for all of you who've seen the car and seem to know it. All that was in the basket when I offered my speculation was a high-mileage car that'd been massaged under the hood. Post a goddamned picture, reveal beforehand who's selling it if you know, and don't leave us taking pot-shots in the dark if you know so much about it. If you think it's a good price, buy it and enjoy it. But don't give me grief over my best attempts to try and help out someone who had to ask the questions in the first place. I've been on both sides of enough project cars to have a fair idea of the kinds of things the next owner's liable to run into. My apologies if your delicate sensibilities may have been trodden upon.

mike you know the car, and you know who built it. it should be an easy answer for you.

p.s. remeber i wanna drive the beast and teach you how to launch awd :thumb:

Jim like I said in my previous post. This is NOT AN AMS CAR. This is Mike's personal car and it will be treated like any other car that comes in for parts and service. Mike is simply a close friend of mine and I know how much time and money in in the car. Hell this car was in modified magazine in a how to article on putting a 6 bolt in a 2G.
