Engine bay is nasty as hell too. I'm actually willing to bet that the "built top end" he's talking about is just the intake mani/CAI and header. Bet the head's never been opened up let alone 'built.'

Car's look isn't necessarily what threw me off the most, read the add:

I'm offering a 97 talon that comes with a $600 cd deck from pioneer, as well as an amp from pioneer. Came with many new parts when I bought it in October 2010, but Im sorry I do NOT have receipts for these parts. The pictures have changed a little as the blue neon shown in picture 3 no longer works, and well I was nicked from behind and there is a faint scratch on the drivers door, and a little body work needed on the rear wheel well as the vechicle that hit me made a hole about 2-3 inches in diametre. the cars alignment still seems to be in order and will need winter tires eventually althought the tires on them now will work as long as the conditions are not extreme cause the tires and rims on it were new when I bought it. Even though the car is marked as ESI it could possibly be TSI (turbo) because when you come on to the gas it sounds like you can hear shots of turbo being fired as it shifts. I live in Digby, NS and anyone is welcome to come take a look at the car. Would like the amount in full, but will be willing to negotiate with serious inquiries. Email or phone me if interested.

You can hear ''shots of turbo'' ... If the guy can't even open the hood and locate the fvcking turbo he's fvcking retarded.

I had it up for sale a while back. I didn't really care if I sold it at the time, I love this car, it's the longest I've owned a car for and by far my favorite. But things changed since last time I posted it and it has to go.
I've been to busy to work on it lately. It needs the rockers patched up. And a rear wheel bearing that I have just not time to install it. I put the new ic piping on it and it pulls like a scalded cat. It's a fully built 2.3l stroker engine. I'll give you the parts list apon request. The transmission was recently freshened up and is smooth. I have a few things to throw in with it. The brass shifter bushing kit. Meth injection that's half installed, just needs the tank. A double din touchscreen DVD player that needs to be installed. I'd put a real long write up of it but I'm on my phone. Anything you want to know email me. I have more pics I can email also. The paint isn't the best, it should be sprayed again. But it's a sharp looking car. I'm open to offers, I really need to sell it, it's not the best to say that in a ad but I'm hurting. I'm not going to give it away but maybe we can work something out if your interested.

There's also this one, which the paint job is supposed to look like a ''fighter plan'' or w.e. .

I'm thinking of giving him an offer if he still has it though, just waiting for the so called list of parts he has in his built 2.3l... I'd just have to give it a good paint job, which I can do for free except the paint costs. I really wouldn't mind to have a 2gb talon.
