looks like a magnus...how much did you pay for it...hope the welds hold up...

website or link to the product...

all the runners and the plenum are 1/8 inch thick and the flanges are 1inch thick, the manifold was tested to 80 lbs so i think the welds will hold up to anything anyone could throw at it,and magnus uses thinner aluminum and doesnt even come close to this quality, i was going to buy a magnus but seen this and this is a lot better quality and design

i say post a link of their website, how much was it? that kinda info.

hmmm...better than magnus huh...lets see some dynos or some proof...i do not doubt it...it is just very hard to impress me...the price is a little steep though...

#### that 650 and about to go up. That's a lot of money for a smim. I couldn't see spending 650 for a smim when I could get dsmlink. Granted you can't compare but still I try and relate parts to similar priced things and see if they're worth it. Like at 500 bucs it would be about as much as cams which would be ok at 650 it's about the price of dsmlink and not worth it. This guy would have to make some real nice numbers to convice ppl his product is worth 700(that's assuming he only increases the pric 50 bucs) It looks nice and I don't doubt it will make good power but the big question is will it make enough power to be worth buying over another cheaper smim? Good luck

Hard to throw that much into it. 650 can get you dsmlink AND new injectors, a complete fuel setup, or a new turbo.

mmm a 1 inch thick flange? if its flat, it should never leak. thats something dejon needs to realize....

What is that TB? and is it included or how much more? It appears in the pic of the TB blade that there is a ridge top and bottom that could restrict airflow, is that correct, my eyes are not that sharp! Mark
Maybe it's an optical illusion.

you have to realize that there is an order in the way you spend money. First you buy the most effective things... like a turbo, DSMlink, Fuel mods, exhaust, intake etc... Then after a while, you've done all those. you end up chasing horsepower by buying things like cams, forged internals to support more boost, better headgasket.... At some point you'll run out of those... and when you can spend 650-900 on a manifold that will add a 2% hp increase, you'll do it... because by then, 2% is 40 hp.

Anyway its a nice looking mani, but I don't see velocity stacks in it... I also think its just a copy of the AMS and Magnus intakes.

Or you could do what some people do and upgrade in steps like I did and get cams and smim at the same time because everyone knows they compliment each other. Those people like to find the cheapest and most effective way to make the most power possible. Like if you can get cams and smim for 800 and make say 50hp or you can spend 1200 bucs and get 65hp I think my 400 bucs is gonna stay in my pocket and i'll pick up that power in my tuning.

Or you can do another way. From the engine internals, head, tranny, then worry about all the other things, such as your turbo and what not. :rocks:

or you could strip everything and make the car light as possible first

there is no point in listing all the possibilities, thats SOOOO OFF TOPIC

anyways, does the throttle body come with the manifold? is that just a 75mm mustang throttle body?

... I'm not saying this is the case with this particular buyer, however for some people they will maximize a certain range of parts out. No matter how much tuning they do, they won't be making any power... this is the point at which people spend huge money on things like SMIMs or other parts that small differences can free up horspower.

Many people on here say modifying cheap means modifying twice. I personally think the best way to build a car is set a goal of what you want, then build to 50% over that goal.

My personal philosophy is figure out what i need, build 50% better/stronger/etc, and then figure out what the best part is, cost effectively wise for that application.

my mods are gt35r,crower stage 3 cams, ems ,rc 1000cc injectors, etcetcetc,my stock intake is choking my engine also my gt35r is on a 2g manifold that im changing to a t3,also looking for a t3 housing for my gt35r if anyone knows of anyone selling one,pte has the housing i need also looking for a shearer t3 manifold, but the intake is more important now ,the t3 upgrade i will be addressing later when i have the funds,,this has been a 3 year project still upgrading slowly(cause of money)
and for those that say they would rather have a dsmlink, injectors, turbo upgrade, do some more research, you should have all of those before considering a intake

Yeah man, i would port match the intakes tb opening to your TB. You have a huge bottle neck right there if you dont do that.

And whoever said there isnt velocity stacks, look harder. They are there.

There are dyno numbers on Galantvr4.org. I don't recall exactly what they were but the car made the same power after the manifold swap but with 5 psi LESS boost. They couldn't get more out of it because of fuel delivery issues. It looks like a pretty nice manifold and well worth the money. And I don't think it really looks like a magnus, it has a tapered plenum like the magnus, but so do most other manifolds.

Thats the prettiest many I have seen. Leaps and bounds nicer than a magnus. Personally hate sheet metal manis for the street. They slow boost responce something horrible. But they doo add ponies on a high revving track car.
