It has been said many times that you either have to break the tabs under the headlights or do some sort of magic trick by shoving or poking things around under your headlights.

The front bumper cover and bumper support are made to be taken off as the whole front bumper assembly. So basically just follow any other tutorial but when they reach the part when its time to pull out the magic wand... just get under the car and unbolt the bumper support bars and slide the bumper assembly off as a whole
 
That's cool, didn't know that! Not surprised- my bumper has been pretty screwed up and modified from the previous owners. I need get a new one..
 
After removing my bumper the correct way two times I decided to leave off the two little metal brackets that hold the cover to the support. I makes it much easier to remove the bumper in the future without them, because you no longer have to remove the support along with the cover. The cover can be taken off by itself.
