The car is not cranking. the starter is just spinning the motor

I currently have a 98 gsx. The car is not cranking. the starter is just spinning the motor. The story is i installed a 16g with a walbro 255 fuel pump and everything ran fine for about week. After running the car for about 20 hours over the course of a week it would not start, it just randomly shut off. I have tryed everything such as replacing all the relays, fuses, sparkplugs, plugs, coil and the ECU and i cant get to the bottom of it... can some one please help me?

Do you drive an automatic? Is it all the way in park?
Check your starting circuit, your wiring could be loose, disconnected etc.
The starter motor pinion could be jammed in the flywheel ring gear.
Is the starter solenoid faulty?
Is the ignition switch faulty?
Are the starter pinion or flywheel teeth worn or broken?
This is all I could think of that could be wrong.

Try checking the connection for the fuel pump. That might be your problem.

IF it was jammed it wouldent just shut off wouldent start

Something could have happened to cause it to jam.
He said it just randomly stopped starting up, sounds like it could be the t-belt.
Plus re read it, he never said he could get it running.

Where is the starting circuit, starter solenoid and ignition switch located?

Take the cam cover off and make sure the timing belt didnt snap.

i already have checked that...... i just took a closer look and im not catching any spark or fuel? i have no idea whats going on...

yes i swapped it out with my buddies who has a 97 gsx manual and it still did not catch spark or fuel.....

Have a friend try to start it as you watch the cam gears. If the top of the timing belt is in tact and the cam gears don't turn the belt probably failed at the bottom. If you stripped teeth off the belt at the crank It'll keep tension but won't turn causing your crank to spin very fast but nothing else.

I do not have a cel light and i already checked the timing and cam gears..... could there be anything else??

Sounds like you have a boost leak maybe. Make a Boost leak tester and check all your couplers.

You pulled an injector out and cranked the car and nothing came out? I would unbolt the fuel feed line (look at the passenger side of the rail, it's held on by 2 10mm bolts) and see if fuel is getting pumped through that line. If it is not, then your fuel pump quit working.

I think we are all having a hard time understaning your Original post. Maybe you can edit and make it a little clearer. I thought you said the car was stalling. So I said check for boost leaks.

If you're not getting fuel to the injectors it could be a bad pump, clogged filter, Crank position sensor, clogged or faulty injectors, Bad FPR, Bad wiring.

ok so i pulled out the fuel line and tried to start the car but no gas came out... could my fuel filter be clogged or is it a bad fuel pump?

Pull out the bottom of the backseat and remove the inspection cover for the fuel pump. Then listen for the fuel pump while someone is trying to start the car. It should sound like a humming or buzzing sound.

Could be the fuel filter? do you have an AFPR?
