Does anyone still sell this? I have the 3 book set but something searchable would be pretty super sweet. I searched and haven't found any sites still up and running, eBay is also empty. I know you can view them on Scribd but you have to pay to download, may as well buy the whole CD right?

Some here are free and open when you click them. Others (probably the larger main manuals) you have to register when you click them and I don't know they are free or not (I'm still trying to get through the "quick, ha, ha registering" and hangs. Finally gave up). Tech info on DSMs

Because we don't allow/support illegal activity on this site, which includes torrents. We support the vendors that support us, not try and steal from the people who put in the hard work to convert those books to PDF and put them on CD.

Torrents aren't illegal activity. A lot of linux distros are distributed by torrent. That's just like trying say Fraunhofer IIS is evil because they invented mp3 and people use that format for illegal music sharing. I am uploading the PDFs of all the manuals on my site as I am typing this. They will be in this directory soon... I registered on scribd a while ago and downloaded them in PDF.

It's more that someone is actually selling the product vs. promoting downloading a copy. We don't encourage downloading on this site.

I never said all torrents are illegal. But 99% of the time people mention that word on this site is dealing with illegal activity.

So if some one were to sell bootleg DVD's that'd be cool, just 'cause their selling a hard copy instead of a soft copy?
Bootlegging is bootlegging, regardless of whether its a paper book, a DVD, a downloaded copy, or the Duke Bro's running shine.
If the sellers have all the licenses for the software and pdf reproductions of the manuals, great.
Also, downloading, in itself, is not a bad thing, and neither are torrents. Most of the software I have is downloaded, and paid for, through legal means. (updates for ECMLink come to mind)

The person who scanned the book to a computer and distributed it first is the original pirate. But people who ask for monetary gain by putting it on a CD are worse. I doubt Mitsubishi would even care about people downloading the books, they're more worried about garages and businesses, that would actually pay for it. I wonder if they even print it anymore. I really don't dig PDF for books that are that long. Any time I work on my car I find myself running inside to the computer to look at the PDF, when if I had the actual book it would be out in the garage with me.

Ok, enough of the debating on what's legal vs. not. I'm simply stating we don't want to see discussions around torrents or links to certain torrents. My initial statement was from a forum rules standpoint, not an overall legal standpoint.
