My cousin paid someone to do a timing belt chnage, and he bought the OEM belt.
Well they set the tensioner too tight (you could here it, sounded like a supercharger or like an airplane). He only drove it about 3-5 miles.
Will this small amount of driving result in premature belt failure? Should he buy a new belt now, or just readjust it?
