Can someone please measure with dial calipers the timing belt tensioner arm stud diameter on a 6bolt. It is part of the mount that the tensioner arm rotates on. I need to verify which part is worn. The arm or the stud. Also anyone know if they sell just they bushing (I assume not).
Thanks:thumb:

Well, the diameter of the tensioner stud is exactly 1/4in. Although that is not the part that wears down. It would get shorter, and it needs to be at least .74in tall. If not, then you need a new one. There is no bushing you can install.

I just realized that you were talking about the tensioner arm, not the hydraulic tensioner. I just put this back on. I think it's a safe bet that the bushing is worn out, in which case it is probably easiest if you just buy a new tensioner arm.
