Does anyone know where i can get the tension arm and engine mount it pivots on. The arm has a egg shapped hole and pivot shaft is grooved. junkyard parts or no.
What do you guys think?

I'd recomend getting the motor mount/ pivot from a junkyard. They should have a good one there.

I'd ask the dealer about the arm. It had a plastic bushing pressed into it so it can pivot freely. Maybe you could get the bushings seperatly, or maybe they only com with the arm. Either way, it should be cheap.

Good News went to local junkyard and came across 91or90 laser rs w the head/tranny and alot of stuff out the way. 140k on speedo so i tear into it and after removing water pump pulley it wouldn't clear the body. after further examinig the body was supported by a wheel under rad core. both front wheels gone and nothing but the mount I NEED holding the block in place. so I jacked up the car stuck that wheel under the oil pan and dropped the car down a little to losen the drive side mount. then i had the short block totally free so i used my brand new matco pry bar speared in a water jacket and rotated the front side into the air for easy access. busted the timing cover into peices  and about 10mins had me a MINT engine mount PIVOT and tensioner arm assembly.
It looks brand new compared to mine. I take it the arm were the hydro tensioner pin contacts its not supposed to have a hole the size of BB. Other than that it isnt egg shapped wear the bushing is.
anyways thanks for input pneumo
