temp. guage stays half way all the time?

My temp. Guage stays at halfway all the time but car doesn't overheat and it doesn't even feel hot untill the car is been off for about ten minutes. Any ideas??? Thanks

Clean up your posting as "doesn't even feel hot untill the car is been off for about ten minutes" doesn't even make sense. Normal operating temperature is right below the half way mark.

Do you mean the gauge needle is always at the halfway mark even on COLD STARTS? Or always goes to the middle during the warming up process?

Also, being 17 years old does not mean you do not know how to type. LiQUiDx was trying to say you might need to take typing classes.

If you really worried about it just change out the thermostat and the sensor.
