Hello guys how are you doing? I am just wondering if anyone has had experience with the TEIN SUPER STREET for the 2G AWD DSM. My suspension is completely shot, so its time for an upgrade. I am willing to spend around $1300 USD total.

The SS's are a very nice coilover setup for the street. They have a slightly softer spring rate than the Flex's. Make sure you get them w/ upper mounts. They are rebound/compression adjustable by the same "magic" knob. Overall an asian coilover is an .....asian coilover. If you are looking for a decently priced coilover with a great name backing them up, the Flex's or the SS's are great.

Yeah I am not going to do any heavy autocrossing. Mostly for daily driving thats all. So the SS's are a good pick I am guessing by you describing it. I don't want something too stiff that will rattle my teeth going over small bumps.

I am just wondering, how hard is to install them??

Well the suspension itself comes ready to mount. Unbolt current suspension, reinstall new. If your cars as old as mine, seriously consider taking it to a well known mechanic, as alot of the bolts may be seized and perma-stuck. Dont let them charge you more than 200 dollars at the very most. If you do do it yourself, rent a spring compressor from autozone, Its free with deposit. People say you can do it without one, but its not wise or safe.

Also is a perfect time to press in some new bushings. It will help ALOT. also a very hard job for someone without the right tools.

Well I have like $2000 worth of tools, so thats not the issue, I already have a setup of crappy coil overs so I wouldn't be needing a spring compresser because the springs are not compressed .
