is the tcu in a turbo and non turbo the same? i am having some problems with stalling when i put my car in gear. i want to try the tcu before i go any further

An auto tcu in a turbo & non turbo car have different part numbers.
The bin files in the eproms are different & don't suit swaping.
Your tcu isn't causing your stalling (even if you are in limp mode)
Look elsewhere to find your stalling prob.
