Hi guys , I'm wondering if any of you can answer me this question i'm having a hard time right now with my Plymouth laser rs turbo 2.0 1991 I'm looking to replace the TCU because after months of trying to verify what was going wrong with my car it appears that the tcu it has was from a Mitsubishi mirage 1.5 the car arrived in my hands with that issue but the question is Car that is originally made turbo but then has no turbo can use a tcu from a non turbo car?And ill really appreciate which tcu could be match up with this connectors?? any serial number in specific?

Just dug my 91 TSI AWD out of storage since 2001, changed the fluids, new O2 sensor and various other replacements....the car drove like a champ :D and them not:cry:. The transmission went into limp mode. Tested TCU was flatline, no codes so I pulled it and the capacitors have leaked. I knew about the ECU capacitors and changed them years ago, didn't know about the TCU.

Anyway started reading this thread and am now hunting for a TCU, anyone got a line on one. Am going to text Miller.

Am also going to try replacing capacitors on this one..couple of buck experiment that i think will fail, the board isn't looking good.
