I got a 95 eclipse gs automatic trans... No major upgrades just bolt ons at the moment.. I had no trouble out of the car and just the other day while i was driving it shifted fine in 1 2 and drive but a few seconds later it on its own drops back into 2nd and will stay in 2nd gear no matter what until you shut the car completely off them restart. When u do that it will shift fine but restarts the whole process... It's gotta be something electrical because when u kill power it resets only to do it again. Guessing if it was mechanical it would be stuck in a gear or there would be noises or burnt fluid.
