I bought a 91 Talon all original except a DIY manual shift mod. I pulled out the TCU found the cap leaking and another part burnt.

Was wondering what would cause this and were can I get parts to fix it? I'd like to have the option of driving the car normal.

My suggestion is to get another cap that's the same size and rated for a higher temperature. Are you talking about the white board as being one of the burnt parts? If so you may consider using another "junk" TCU to get that part off of it if you cannot find it online by searching for any unique numbers you may find on it's casing.

Those caps in the middle all need replacing. The TCU suffers the same problem as the ECUs, leaking caps. Personally, I would replace the caps, and see how that works. I didn't see any really bad spots around the caps. Clean it up with some alcohol and you will get a better idea of where you're at.

The bottom one is suppose to be orange like the rest on the board I found the big one to replace up top. IDK what to look for the bottom one only number I see on that one is 47-10

Unlike the ECUs, when the caps fail in the TCU there is a big chance the voltage regulator fails and dumps 12v on the 5v output blowing up the rest of the TCU. The success rate was so low that I wouldn't take TCUs in for repair.

You can see that the electrolyte has wicked under the pass transistor heatsink and under CA2 pins. That will need to be cleaned up or it will continue to eat the copper traces.

This is what the bottom one that burnt is suppose to look like. IDK how to find a replacement for this one.
