This is a noob question, and I couldn't remember or quite find the answer.

I need to hook up a boost gauge and my wastegate (haven't tapped my new J-pipe yet, but need somewhere to hook it up in the meantime.)

I usually just tee the FPR line for the boost gauge (again, just got a new one... got rid of that glowshift crap), but neither of these ports are in use currently, and it'd be clean if I could use them.

I figure one is before the throttle plate, and the other is after, but which one goes where This is the stock 2g TB, btw.

Does it really matter? I've always though it was good to have the MBC on the UICP side of the plate and the BOV and boost gauge on the IM side, but do either really matter?? I remember way back in the day when everyone was tee'ing the MBC off the BOV line.

Any help is appreciated.

mbc on the uicp correct but you want it as close to the turbo as possible.
boost gauge and bov on the intake manifold side due to the bov opening under vaccum and also being able to see vacuum on your boost gauge if it can do so.

That was the assumption, thanks for confirming...

So which port goes to which side?

Well, I wasn't getting any answers ,so I did some investigating.

I connected the wastegate to the E port and the Boost Gauge to the A port...... both are functioning normally.... so, meh, whatever. :)

Next weekend, I plan to get the compressor out and do some boost leak testing (haven't done any since the HG/timing job), so I'll be able to test myself and see which goes where.
