Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. I'm trying to find an IC piping reference line on the TB that shows the pipe pressure rather than manifold pressure. i just put a FMIC and new BOV on my car and I dont' feel comfortable running both the WG/MBC and the BOV on the same reference line. Can anyone tell me?

Never tap into the BOV line. It should have a direct, uninterrupted line straight to the intake manifold.

Look at this to properly hook up your MBC -- make sure you reference the correct diagram for your MBC type: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/365594-help-manual-boost-controller.html#post152154778

If you don't have a pressure source on your j-pipe or your compressor housing, you can put one there: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/396420-where-connect-manual-boost-controller.html#post152510588.

Yep, read those. And I'm not running my BOV and WG on the same line, if you read carefully you'd see that I said I'm not comfortable doing so, thus why I'm asking :);). I know how to hook up a MBC, and a BOV, but that wasn't the question I was asking. Also, by looking at those again, I see you said never tap into the BOV line and that it should have it's own reference source. Those diagrams there, don't they have the BOV and the MBC on the same reference line? ;) Just a thought

Now back to the original topic. I was looking at the different vacuum diagrams I have here, and it looks to me like port A on the TB was actually used to run as a reference line for the stock WG reference. That's according to the diagram, has anyone tried this yet?

Then I was providing you (and anyone else who is to find this thread in the future) with a friendly reminder. :)

The original vacuum delete diagrams in the Taboo Vacuum Diagram thread? They are wrong. They should be made to look something like this, as the second post in the Taboo article shows:

The ports on the throttle body were never used as a reference line for the stock wastegate. These are the original, unadulterated vacuum diagrams for a 1G. You can clearly see that the boost control solenoid, wastegate, j-pipe on the turbo charger, and intake canister/cleaner are all connected via vacuum lines, but otherwise keep to themselves.

If I understand you correctly, you want a port on the throttle body that is open to the intake pipe (before the throttle plate), correct? In that case, and assuming you have the four ports on your throttle body, the you should be able to use either the one labeled "Y" or "B" in the diagram immediately above and off the throttle body.
