IC piping

Here is my mods to date...Intake, HKS SSQV, upper ic pipe, HRC downpipe(3"), highflow cat, Thermal Catback(3"),SBR O2 housing, Walbro 190, new plugs and wires, mbc at 16psi, FP Big T28 ported and clipped...I think thats it.

I would like to upgrade to hardpipes and was wondering what size is good for my setup? I have piping around the house and would like hard pipes rather soft pos's.

2.25" for stock intercooler 2.5" for everything else.

2.5in piping will flow more than enough for 500whp, it is used on all kits made by greddy, apexi, etc. just use reducers if your intercooler outlets are a different size.

Yes and no, for the uicp all the kits you buy for a 2g will have 2.25 and some of the dejon pipes will be 2.5" but that's mostly for the supra side mount. The lower pipe is a bit smaller I think maybe 1.75" or 2" I haven't had to deal with stock routed piping in a while. Like mikejm7 said 2.5" is more than enough for quite a bit of power a couple of my buddies have 550+whp gsx's and they all have 2.5" piping.

My choice would be 2.5" piping. It's not too wide and not too narrow.

So with me doing a complete homemade FMIC kit in a month or so... 2.5" is more than enough? Im just worried about the flow of it, being too small or large of a id.
The dimensions of the IC I am most likely going with is...
Core size: 25" wide X 7.75" tall X 2.75" deep

2.5" would be a great size and flows enough for more power than most members here will ever see.
