Tan or black 2G leather?

So what would you guys say is more sought after, the tan/ black interior of 2gs or the black/ black interior. I've only seen one with the tan interior and it was sorta beat up so my first impression was......blah!!!! Anyone have any pics of some nice tan leather they wanna put up while I go thorugh the gallery?

I think if the car is black, tan would look best. Well for me, here is 1 pic I got of tan leather interior.

Sorry about the picture for the tan, but you can see it in it. I like the tan because it provides a contrast, I Think the black/black is just too dark.


PS- The black on black was on my first car....an auto gs....

My GST had tan, I didnt like it.
GSX has grey/black/whatever. Looks alot better imo

I have to agree black/gray interior on a black car looks more clean than a tan interior does.
Don't get me wrong tan interior does look good with other exterior colors usually the lighter colored ones, but black interior is sexy in all of them.

I prefer all black leather and all the grey accents painted black to match....Car is northstart white ext...Black leather interior.....

I would say black leather is more sought after due to it being available only in 1 year 99 where as there was 3 for tan 97 98 99

Plus TRUE 99's have white faced gauges....Everyone likes to say I did a 99 conversion blah blah....you missed the gauges 99% of the time...

There should be 2 more of those double-sided hooks (like the top ends of the net connect to) in the floor about where the bottom ends hang now. Lift up the carpet (or the whole floor) and see if there's 2 holes in it. Then just buy 2 more of the hooks and take them to the hardware store and see which screws thread into them.

Personally, I want to paint my car a 2 tone black and blue, and then re-upholster the interior w/ blue suede in the center of the seats and either a black to match the outside theme, or a white-ish for contrast. But yea, I like that black on black, it looks badass.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Tan LEATHER interior on the 2g with the black dash. It looks more luxurious and elegant. It seems to look best IMO with the maroon 2g.

Of course the all black is a clear winner, I wouldn't mind the tan leather if I had no choice.

What I despise is the Tan CLOTH. That is the most horrid thing. With that nasty elephant print. The gray cloth on the 2g also has the print, but it doesn't stick out as much. I use to have the cloth 2g interior. This is with 97-99s. I believe talons, and 2gas have no print thank god.

Owning a 98 gs-t with tan cloth has made me hate cloth interior, I will always go with leather if the option is there.

i bought tan and black katzkin 1k installed...it's ok my car is a deep red and it looks good but i would prefer something a lil different

I like the tan/black interior as well cause it looks more elegant. I have all grey interior It looks so bright inside..blah i will just put tints on.
