Talon ECM interchange question

1995 Talon 420A non turbo automatic

I need an ECM for this car....does it have to be an exact match on the ID number or will other ones work and if so, which ones.... Thanks !!!

The id's dont need to match. Just take it from a 2g with the same motor/tranny.

95-96 420a AUTO ECU only, Manual will not comunicate with your TCM. Not sure if '97+ will even plug in but they deffinately wont run the car without re-pinning the connectors, they are not even close on wire pinnouts. But the ECUs do not even look similar between a '96 and '97+

Ok.........one question.... i know the plugs for the sensors are different from the 95 to the newer ones, will the plugs be the same for the computer ?
