1G ECU Interchange Question?

Hey guys, Quick Question, Will an ECU out of a 92 gst 5 speed work in a 90 gst 5 speed?

Yes it should, just make sure its not a California emmisions if your car is Federal, and the other way around

You'll have to swap pins 6 & 14 to make it work.

yes i agree. my ECU crapped out on my 92 AWD 5-sp and i got a stage 2 eprom socketed ECU from a 90 awd 5-sp. i had to swat pins 14 and 6 on the harness. but if you get another ECU, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CAPS REPLACED!!!! so worth the time and money if an ECU is older than 10 years the capacitors WILL leak and do bad things that cost, as usuall, a lot of money. hope this helps and if you need a diagram of the harness let me know, i have the mechanics manual for every dsm every made.
